The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 本来可以给五星，但是这狗屎结局只能让我给一星了。这狗屎结局根本配不上全片爆棚的肾上腺素。狗屎一样的圣母婊价值观。现在的好莱坞简直病入膏肓，如同被step黑人弟弟亲手打死的吉伦哈尔一样可悲，狗屎。
戏剧化的角色冲突在被立体围剿的高速移动空间中生死时速，导演选择用新世纪的技术复刻90年代题材，掘尽了四千万美刀预算的每一分毫，最终打造出一部为大银幕而生的改编电影。
