The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 根据上世纪八十年代发生于南非的真实银行人质劫持案改编。影片整体上还拍得比较流畅，尤其是开头的几个追逐镜头，场景调度非常到位，一气呵成。此案件并非简单的刑事案件，实则是有着强烈的政治背景，劫犯是南非反种族隔离的黑人，提出的条件是释放曼德拉。导演处理起来有些左右为难，既想将这起张力十足的案件拍得好看，又得兼具其政治背景，在剧情中加入许多政治元素，竭力向着有历史感的政治性影片方向引。此片后面显得有些松懈，逻辑上也出现问题，最后喊起了口号。
后来过了很久是被纯爱的海报欺骗下载了来看
是一场相互救赎吗？应该是一场最终的互相理解吧。

還有一個問題，就是電影沒有去做戲劇處理，他只是把故事說完，但是其中的反思不是說對白就可以說出來的，而是需要去呈現，但是電影卻沒有。他只是在呈現畫面，卻沒有內容，導致觀影者在看完後，除了當下的反思，其實背後並無值得思考的空間。這樣的電影，其實是沒有靈魂的，可惜了這群演員和這樣的題材。
今年到现在最暖心的一部电影，三浦小天使真的太可爱了吧~
就是篇幅有点长....
可看可不好看，种族，劫持，都是喜欢的题材，可是这个深度不够…

喜欢男女主最后在椅子上表白的镜头，但剧情整体还是有点太......
自由的代价是“生命的一切”。故事很精彩，描绘了南非一群为了理想和正义而战斗、牺牲的战士和英雄，同时也展示了殖民主义、种族主义分子的偏狭残忍。
