The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 另类忠犬电影，露露是一只军犬，性情凶猛，老兵男主带着他参加战友的葬礼。
演技与情节，台词，节奏，都恰到好处，于是很无聊的故事也被演绎的相当精彩
有点公路片，陆军游骑兵千里送军犬，格格不入的人狗最终培养出感情。情节有点拖拉，人狗互动不够。冲着查宁•塔图姆看的。

我已经能想象这片如果在中国（内地）视频网站上线，当故事发展到后面时，那坨弹幕会充斥着什么了：“让TA死，圣母＊——噢耶，活该——可惜，漂亮国警察就这会儿动作快”，毫无难度的推测。
