剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it?     3.8分。 这位导演学了不少泰伦斯·马利克的电影手法啊！浅焦摄影，广角镜头配搭大量的升格效果，以及掺入大量的主角内心独白，去除现场音，当然，还少不了神叨叨的叙事手法。这些都在马利克《隐秘的生活》里大量出现。 不过，本片用19世纪马其顿乡村作为背景，讲述一桩离奇的女巫故事，倒像极了A24的作品风格。如果说到影片的核心表达，在我看来有两点，一个是对于女性的历史处境再次披露。当然，这里便是噤声、附属和工具等表意。而第二个则是对于身份的寻找和确立，这块其实片子在叙事结构上还是颇为常见，即两代女巫的人生选择，一个选择了怨怼，另一个选择了救赎。
