The narrator who is also the hero says in voice-over that he loves this megalopolis . It focuses on the residents of these neighborhoods without cloth and without resources where most of the native population of Shanghai Lodge . Indeed the streets Zongshan Donglu which contains the Bund, Pudong, the famous Oriental Pearl is not the stock market and everyone. We must go farther Jingan District to discover the social wealth of this city . Why attach immense cold and nervous architectures while the Shanghai Blood flows through the veins of its rural ? 一个婚礼，一个葬礼。一场电影，一座别墅。new era 仅仅指一位老人死去，一个婴儿出生。时代还停留在两战之间，还没拍到二战呢，所以还可能有续集。作为追完全系列剧集和第一部电影的人，还是先花了半小时才逐一认清脸，并回忆起每张脸的前世今生，理清复杂的人物关系网。然后才欣赏家长里短和精美的英式贵族台词。编剧对唐家屯这一icon群像戏已经驾轻就熟，按部就班，粉丝只要follow就行了。
这一部真的有点打不出五星 尤其是画面色调 也太蓝了 （难以想象maggie smith真的去世的时候我会有多难过 另外matthew goode是有多忙啊 一个镜头都没时间拍吗！生他的气

影院重新开门终于让我看到这一部。他们一切都好，已是最好。
大概是那份克制和尊重 无论多么狗血俗套的剧情他都能克制而温情的展现出一个人物一群人物之间的深层情感 让你感觉无论楼上楼下都有着自己的位置 自己的艰难 自己的光芒 甚至散发出一丝丝不真实的美好气息
最近很多长篇IP都走到了时代变迁，新旧交替的节点，与这些IP相伴长大的自己也渐近而立之年。再加上整个社会的激烈转向，遂越来越容易超越剧集本身感受到与现实的强烈共鸣。无谓好坏，但是不可避免啊——无论个体是否赞同与接受，人力都阻止不了历史的车轮向前滚动。
