The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 60年代童年往事，滤镜后的过去可比当下有意思多了

人到中年（老年）总要拍一部来追忆童年系列，旧时生活的细节是最有趣的。
出乎意料的真实感，有如回忆录般的旁白勾勒出美国60年代的社会与文化，同时也细致地描绘了南部城市孩子的少年生活写照，大概是“看情商正常的young sheldon出演阿甘正传”的感觉。后面阿波罗10号半与11号的登月经历交错剪辑得非常棒，站在stan的视角这段很动人，也喜欢最后睡着了没有看到“第一步”却又什么都经历了的处理方式。给编剧兼导演鼓掌👏🏻

喜欢这种结构的故事，谁又能证明他没有登月呢，童年充满美好与幻想，平安长大太不容易啦。
90分钟全景式展现60年代美利坚风土人情，也可以叫“别了，大美利坚黄金时代”。
很好看呀，很喜欢这样的风格。孩子的幻想与历史事件相结合，非常有意思的片子。就像自己还没长大的样子。

每个小孩儿都是一个英雄吧，谁知道在你没留意的角落，他曾经拯救过全世界呢。电影中浓浓的怀旧气息非常舒服，因为没有历史，所以一切都是新的，谢谢，刺激，就像一个无拘无束的少年。其实老美的过去和老中的过去不是差不多嘛。
