The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 老爷子终是在这部片子里，步履蹒跚力不从心了。
这一部不是那种老少咸宜的动画电影……自觉没什么意思……

唯一不变的是弄死弟弟的决心，依旧是花样百出。
鸡很抢戏，最直观感受是东木真的力不从心了，除了剧作上所做出的工整保守的选择外，曾经最强硬的牛仔如今一场简单的驯马戏也只能无奈地用远景和半身镜来为使用替身藏拙。除此之外东木所展现出的超越年龄的精力和状态仍然令人叹服。

不知道老爷子设定男主是多少岁，但看着他用龙钟的姿态钻进驾驶座，蹒跚地踮步做出拳击的架势，僵硬地拥着风韵美女，就不由得觉得真的人要服老才可以啊。
其实看到东木这位91岁的老牛仔依然是活跃在大银幕上已经足够让我感动了，本片是延续《完美的世界》的公路片模式，但是把情节进一步简单化，没有强烈的冲突，只有一位迟暮的老驯马师对一个小屁孩的人生教诲，也是献给自己的一个童话。边境风光很美，配乐很动人，雄鸡也很上镜，一切都那么简单质朴。（7/10）
剧情清汤寡水，结局有点仓促，东木的片子看一部少一部，这种气质上的从容让人看着很舒服。
