The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. What's the price of freedom? Everything. Sometimes Freedom costs too much. 理想主义者的殉道之路。根据发生于南非的真实银行人质劫持案改编，开端貌似三个倒霉蛋困兽犹斗式的逃亡，竟然在无意间成为了推动历史的种族平权先锋。2022年的小成本佳作。
只要我们有一个人被拷着，就没人拥有自由。
摩天轮上，女主羞涩地想要表白，但一直说不出口，男主主动说「我喜欢你」，女生喜极而泣。看到这段，在联系到现实中很多gay一面说自己是同性恋，一面又骗婚生子，目的达到后就冷暴力妻子……觉得男主惨，女主更惨。不过从某个角度来说，男主只是个高中生，他努力想要融合进刻板印象及其深的高中生活，做个普通学生。他最终也意识到自己的行为不对，不再伪装。
虽然人心向善，但是自由的代价，真的是很大的，尤其是当有人自以为是霸主的时候。
从官方视角中的恐怖分子的视角拍的片子比较有特色，而且是种族隔离时期的理想主义者，革命者，热血青年，他们不怕死，但要自由。
历史上Silverton trio点燃了释放曼德拉的星星之火。

非常舒服的视角和节奏，看到最后还很感动。山田杏奈以后专门演LGBT题材的电影吧，太适合了！
自由的代价如此昂贵，黑人白人都不乏优秀儿女
另外三位南非“革命先驱”在片中形象真的一点都不高大全。男主卡尔文有哮喘，也不像是特别聪明的人。但当你看到他们为了那个在当时根本不可能达成的目标而拼上一切时，又深深的使人动容……

各种型号的今井翼都好帅，有魅力；如果阿诚不是骗婚gay（最低），人设还是蛮适合做伴侣的。
南非真实历史值得了解，但是这个拍的就是有点老套了。
