The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 莫名其妙的故事，人物关系和进展也很莫名，除了一点虐囚的镜头，真是乏善可陈
看得好费劲啊…明明是一个赌博片儿，生生弄成了文艺片，然后配乐我真的想问一句，老搞的那么rua何必呢……
不知为啥，我还蛮喜欢这部尴里尴尬的电影的。
男主的扑克脸表情控制也很到位。
勉强3星，片名和剧情本身并无太多关联，算是对体制黑洞以及战争创伤后遗症的反讽，节奏过于拖沓，想看到一场精彩的赌局，结果看了个寂寞。

拯救他人可以安慰自己的创伤，然而事与愿违，选择直面才是最好的方式，片尾回到了监狱，就是自我疗愈的修行。鱼眼长镜头和结尾都是漂亮的戏，但是其它部分散而沉闷，女主这个人物比较尬。
后面看进去了感觉还不错
以为能看到类似赌神的剧情，看来想多了。。。
本质上我觉得是过去创伤与自我救赎外加提了一下美军逼供，披了个打牌的皮。主人公很挣扎拧巴，看的我也很挣扎，在还可以-一般-其实还可以-真的一般之间来回挣扎。
说实话，本作卡斯阵容也相当不错：
在男主给小白15万美元，让他回家看妈妈时，我如醍醐灌顶，这部把男主往救世主拍的自恋爆棚的作品，必然是自编自导，这种剂量的自恋，我上次还是在《文科恋曲》里大受折磨。 奥斯卡·伊萨克实际上扮演的就是保罗·施拉德想象中的自己。
绝对是异质的存在。宛如脖子梗住了的摄影机，单调的注视暗示着来自内面的束缚，深深地呼应了在赌场「Play under the radar」、清教徒式地行走的算牌人的心理张力。内禀的冲突处处都感觉得到。印象比较深的是有个游泳池，非常像监控会拍成的那个样子，还有两个路人在玩水（包括有些对话拍得完全是纪录片里的访谈嘛），而男主角们所勾连的体制酷刑、体制非人道将此一切悬置为意义浇薄的「American surfaces」，是两个男人选择放逐在野的原因。同是「LED」灯，赌场代换到公园，简单而准确地表达主人公的冰释，太给力。不过结尾不知怎么赌牌不拍了，这么重要的具有技术内核的东西排除在画框外……复仇有点像黑泽清。哈迪斯扮相非常好看！
虽然我挺困的，是真困了，但是电影还是好看的，强撑着睡意看完了。
