The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances.     人的好与坏。芬奇好几处向我们展示了人的坏。但也正如芬奇所说，“Humans are full of contractions.”人的好，得细品才知道。说实话我品得很有限。十分看重狗的安危有点像是为了自己的不作为而赎罪(当然有罪恶感也是人的品行)。还有“live a little”/"human experience"(人与物/自然)，还有金门大桥上挂的各种明信片(人与人)。这一些属于人类的高级情感享受，但也很简单。

    真的太喜欢这部片子了。喜欢到一时间简单的几句都难以概括它每一分每一秒带给我的那种仿佛经历了一生一般的触动。PS 一只啥也干不了的笨狗狗只要学会在情感上控制人类完成寄生，就能在末日活下去。

    《芬奇》又是这样一部典型的作品。末世人类的世界设定，关于抵达目的地同是又是自我认知的追寻旅程。主角芬奇与机器人杰夫互为镜像同时又成为了传承。以上这些其实仍然是常见的公路电影的内在核心。只是《芬奇》显得更有决心，因为整个片子的正序叙事中没有出现第二个人类。也正因为如此，《芬奇》唯一的缺点可能正是过于工整，过于四平八稳了。
