The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Screen 2 Odeon Covent Garden｜时代的落幕。依然惊诧于编剧们的创作力，从有声电影的角度切入，又点缀些老太太在南法的暧昧往事，浪漫、艺术又端庄。婚礼和葬礼转合，死亡和新生交织，主题曲响起，我还是2010年正在读高中的学生，也想不到从此我就和英国有了那么多牵绊。
虽说也没指望特别好，但确实剧情有点太散了。
没想到是个Bad Ending，猝不及防地和唐家屯灵魂老太太告别了。从默片电影到有声电影，唐顿庄园也迎来了它的新时代，但我真的不想和这个系列说再见...

节奏上比上一部温润不少，狗血与叙事性都在，加了很多外景。总感觉这不是新20s拍的作品，在最浮躁的时代拍时代温情片，英国人对唐顿庄园的记忆其实不亚于甄嬛传。死亡伴随着新生，婚礼之后就是人生的葬礼，做一场古典优雅的英国庄园好莱坞电影梦。平行时空下的男演员和男服务员的私奔与逃跑，大胆与勇敢的kiss kiss，为新时代揭开新纪元的序幕。（电影院buff加成！19.9一个人包场两个小时空调吹爽啦！）

一开篇眼泪就下来了，我宣布理想国唐家屯永远是我最爱的电视剧。
看这部电影的另类感受，为什么有些人100年前就在就已经过上这样贵族的生活，我们苦了100年却还在过这样的苦日子，太痛苦了。
里面提到了由默片向有声电影的过渡期，展现出了做默片的电影人的窘境，让人想到了那个法国电影《艺术家》（仅为个人切入角度）。
