The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 换一个角度纪念那场灾难
在听到大家唱歌的时候我没哭。只是看到大家在经历灾难之后，仍然笑着交谈的时候，我就泪流满面。
看前半个小时的时候感觉特别惊艳，后面渐渐就有些腻乏了
除此之外，剧本本身对911事件给美国社会心理带来的各方面影响的刻画也是相对比较到位的。

作为音乐剧倒是没有给我印象特别深的歌曲（机长姐姐的Me and the sky好听！），剧情也比较一般，主要是当年的真实事件很令人感动。在灾难面前，人们确实没办法忍受一直看新闻，而是会想在自己有资源的时候互相帮助，这是不分种族性向甚至动物权益的（穆斯林在那之后确实备受影响）。

这部音乐剧不仅做到了令人难忘的音乐效果，亦在幽默的基础上增添了人性的光辉。
特殊时期来看这种民间自发互助还是挺感动的。临结尾的创伤后遗以及十年后的生活还得继续，只愿不要歧视和平共处吧！

来看看，正能量的作品不是非要大家牵着手大喊口号的。
不同风格的一部音乐剧，官方影像音效好像做的有点问题
当生活被灾难按下了暂停键，内心的某些地方会变得不同，也许是感恩生活，也许是增加仇恨。没有人在灾难中一无所获。台上的演员高矮胖瘦都有，岛民和乘客身份随时切换，非常出彩。
