The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 老了呀老了，演了个老人，杀手有点强行变好的感觉。
拍的波澜不惊。。。这导演还拍过黄金眼和皇家赌场的
记忆营救，居然想要一个杀人无数作恶多端的老爷子杀手，不要死，好好活下去。最后给被开除的警探不在场证明，可能是因为警方第一个抓的嫌疑人可能就是他吧，怕他被冤枉进监狱或者出纰漏招供了那个警员，虽然那警员没有给尼森叔说道歉（在尼森叔游轮排队杀了富婆儿子后开车跑路开枪打中了尼森叔），但是最后那一刀，才是真真正正的歉意和告慰这个侠义满满的老年杀手。
没太多亮点却也没什么槽点的一部电影。当执法部门不能尽到自己的责任保护弱势群体，反而袒护上层人物时，当法律没法维护正义时，一群身份职业各不相同的人只能用自己的方式去制裁坏人。即使是垂垂老矣的连姆尼森大叔，依旧惹不起。女FBI探员挺漂亮的。
阵容豪华但剧本太过粗糙，故事老套、逻辑也有很大问题，很多细节禁不起推敲，简单来说，垃圾。
打斗片段依然干脆
但是中间的闲话特别多
最精彩的是蒙面人背后抹脖子那一瞬间，毫不拖泥带水。
动作戏不够流畅，看出了种英雄迟暮，美人垂矣的感觉。岁月真的是把杀猪刀啊
老硬汉的片子，虽然剧情少了点趣味，可打架从不拖泥带水。莫妮卡贝鲁奇是真的老了。
有些俗套，几场动作戏却还行，连姆尼森还能打几年？
连姆大叔救了一圈突然发现最需要拯救是居然是自己。就还...蛮无聊的。
动作打斗还行吧，就是剧情，这反派这么容易被杀吗？
老年杀手也太可怜了 想想他中年有多风光 /那么多警察保护一个人渣 棒棒哒/ 结尾比较好评/我会打四星 但5.8太夸张了五星顶

③根据经典惊悚电影《冷面赤心》改编，也被译名为《阿滋海默调查案》、《杀手记忆》，诞生于2003年的一部作品。
看完才意识到是翻拍，可惜比原作差得有点多，连姆尼森已经没啥突破了，对那些流泪受伤的镜头都过于熟悉，德州墨西哥边境没拍出特色。
