The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 败笔一：镜头瞎晃（平成昭和就区别在摄影师帕金森了？），败笔二：情节俗套，败笔三：狼被具象化失去意境
孤狼已逝，徒留一群失控的疯狗。就像让清纯挂的西野七濑强行浓妆艳抹扮成妈妈桑一般，几乎每个角色的行为都缺乏逻辑，完全沦为剧作的傀儡。年轻演员没有老戏骨镇场，也就剩下瞪眼怒吼爆血的三板斧，却依然无法撑起近乎崩塌的编导。尬吹的也别比肩深作欣二了，就这种水平也妄想复兴本子的黑帮片，不如让它们安静地与时代告别吧。
致敬的包袱不小，初看下来深作欣二的纪实少了些，戏剧性更多倚重在反派，毕竟第一部松坂桃李的雷霆手段已经初具规模了，亮点在结尾，正义夹杂复仇和睚眦必报的三枪真正在风格之上有超越，加一星。
虽然转折的铺陈有点不够，一个有多动症读写困难症的人如何努力与一只流浪犬建立情感交流，最终让它成为一只优秀的搜救犬，挺感人的！
和狗有关的电影就是这么俗套又让人欲罢不能啊
没有刻意煽情的桥段，没有悲伤的结局，没有不爱动物的反派，只有狗狗和人的共同成长，这就是我要的动物电影。
不管是工作环境还是家庭
显然第一部里的大上操控一切，更让人信服。日冈还是弱了。上林，很容易想到东星耀阳。
家里有狗的应该更看得进去，还是比较轻松，并不催泪。
一个要安乐死的狗最后训练成拯救人类生命的义犬。狗的嗅觉是人类的几万倍。看来有些工作是需要交给它们。美国这福特警车不错。扎实。
当上林带领着它的那一群“土狗”疯狂的在广岛肆虐时，身为“孤狼”的日冈只能拼死相搏，去努力守护这片“丛林”的和平，这种强有力意志对立才是第二部最大的卖点。
黑社会是人情世故 不是打打杀杀 搞反了 就必须扑街 日本佬拍片也确实敬业 血腥场面不忍直视 靠视觉上感官上的冲击作为营销 多了也腻 也会从开始的不适和震撼变成从容的番茄汁互喷观摩而已
这一部的白石和弥依然稳定，但在角色、场面、情节上都无法保持水准，更别谈有所进步。
第一部都不怎么样，这部更差 剧情几乎没有，就是疯子跟混子的决斗 2个多小时极其平淡看到想睡觉
没有第一部那么亮眼，结尾有点做作，向老式黑帮片致敬的味道太浓了
铃木亮平真是顺风2小时浪10分钟被翻盘……
慌张的警察看到上林的手断掉大拇指之后的惊恐失措正是整部电影试图呈现的平庸无能之恶——荒唐的相信制度性平庸力量能够束缚并控制激进暴力之恶，是当代颓败文化的缩影。白石和弥继承《无正义之战》式的癫狂与残暴，试图重新展现出激进力量参与到社会现实中的颠覆性。相信以自身力量维持脆弱和平的日冈最终才意识到作为个体不过只是提线木偶的事实，在最终才鼓起勇气脱缰而奔，用个体的强大意志与决绝的情感熄灭激进之恶。上林短暂的镜头闪回，在高耸建筑与低矮楼房之间的求生本能，也预示着这股对社会之仇恨的幽灵，永远也不会因为肉体之覆灭，而彻底消亡。
Smart doggy。真人事件改编的电影在最后放出原型照片时总能让人热泪盈眶。坦白说电影拍的不够好，转折情节有些生硬和刻意了，但我会很高兴自己在将来养狗狗前看了这部电影，会让我在感觉自己和它们是不是不能建立联系时能更有耐心。
挖眼真的看得我都麻了，太恶心了，我就在想啊我要是幸太，最后要不给上林来一枪，要么给自己来一枪，虽然死了也躲不过就是了……
