剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances.     没带什么期待去看的，还挺可爱的，作为圣诞rom com达标了，多给一颗星因为难得有有亚洲人主演这种类型片。这个看起来很没诚意的片名是电影里提到的两部圣诞电影Love Actually 和Die Hard合体。虽然主角其貌不扬找不到对象被诟病又是一个asian stereotype，但是我想说这片子里其实展现了三个不同类型的亚洲男性，还算是有点多样性。

    昨天回家太困了，就想看部轻松的爱情片让自己甜一下，然后又看到是Jimmy Yang演的就果断点开了。里面好几个瞬间都被Josh哥哥的温柔给撩到了，这种Don‘t worry. I got you的温柔，就特别安抚我无处安放的焦虑，soooo grounding。虽然电影这个be the real you的主旨毫无惊喜，但是当这个不完美的忐忑的Josh被看到被认可的时候，我还是禁不住流了几滴眼泪。大概也是渴望这个不完美的自己不用再躲藏了吧。

    不管怎么说，这个桥段总算把亚裔男性当人看了，谢天谢地欧阳万成只是戴了一副眼镜做蜡烛，而不是洗衣工或者CalTech毕业火箭男，下次设计人物背景的时候记得让欧阳万成定居西海岸，六三农场毕业——我在说什么？凯文科斯特纳的Dutton？

    英国今天网飞第二，好奇点开来看看，很普通的一部流水线作品，但是值得夸奖的是完全没有刻意强调男主亚裔的身份

    圣诞气氛营造得还不错，一边打破stereotype一边制造出更多的cliché. 看到结尾女主拿着纸板道歉只想说大可不必，love actually真是被碰大瓷了。
