The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 闹剧一部……属于无聊消遣时间还行的类型。

这片子尤其适合对传武有兴趣或有些了解的观众，真懂功夫、懂真功夫的主创，才能明白真正的武道的力与美本来就足够精彩，根本无需天马行空地夸张。开场不久提到俞大猷，就知道导演是内行了……
一旦接受了无脑性质，在娱乐度和精彩度上还是比第一部优胜。

网飞真的有钱，这部续集，虽然剧情牵强附会闹腾喧哗，但很多特效还是有架势，画面很美，有海洋有火山有闪电有韩国精灵王子，居然还有企鹅，怎么好玩怎么来的样子。可惜主演孙艺珍等都换了。
