战争不止是枪林弹雨的大场面，也有如一片雪原的对峙与焦灼的小场景，小场景也能拍出大胸怀，比某主旋律好。
一般，剧情老套，唉，老谋子果然没把心思放在上面
战斗情节的逻辑不能细究，总觉得有不合理之处，电影拍摄技巧方面很好，不失大师风范，故事性很强，演技在线，家国情怀接近满分
没有丑化对手，大家都智商在线，没有美化战争，愿世上没有战争

班长死后的后三十分钟电影节奏失控了。前面的部分都很好。综合下三颗星。可惜了尾部。还是那句话。张艺谋的电影每部都值得看。
小战役 大故事！美国大兵因个人恩怨 丧失国家利益！
几乎算得上是单场景电影了吧，美军台词写得又进步，场面和技术细节如何只能等枪友评价。总之，格局缩小，非常很有助于展现近年高产的国师导演能力。但也削弱了角色的被记忆可能，也就不用去跟兵临城下比较了。
实际成品比预告片给人的观感好很多，和《水门桥》大场面正面硬刚不同，本片更讲究对狙的智斗，在结构上层层递进，比隔壁也更有“电影感”。
