The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 大部分时间的絮絮叨叨，真实和故事的穿插让人理不清头绪，最后真相大开的时候，还是觉得莫名其妙三千万被捐了。

小成本，戏很简单，剪辑一般，节奏缓慢。人物性格模糊，行为合理性存疑。
中规中矩吧，这种电影，看得出来娜奥米拍的很辛苦。真希望她能接些好电影，毕竟这么好的演员。结尾看到真实故事改编，就决定多给一星，感谢一些故事通过电影让更多的人知道。相互救赎，每个人都在各自的人生里痛苦着，撕裂着。

沃茨是制片人之一。小成本。暴雪景色很美。剧本要是好好打磨，会很不错。剪辑不太好。片子里那个男的有病。
白男糟粕回魂，如此“白男”式的电影中还单独插入了一条和主体剧情毫无关系的黑人线，貌似是暗示黑人崛起白人没落，实则整部电影传递出的思想十分糟粕封建、白人至上、男权至上、歌颂丑陋。
