The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 感觉主角的设定有很多不可推敲之处，查了下果然是原著书中没有的人物。这种无父无母无孩无产的设定，给了电影某种“自由”，却也造成了遗憾？

这是我喜欢的，仅表达“状态”的电影。当漫游不再是冒险，不被赋予目的，不是被城市驱逐，也不是有意亲近自然，漫游就是漫游。她说如果她离开丈夫，那他就像从未存在一样，于是她把漫游当作永不间断的过程，就像不间断的回忆一般。配乐在对白戛然而止时浮现，抬头忽现照亮天际的斑斓远景，忽闻泉水叮咚，海浪拍岸。科恩嫂教小孩麦克白的名言，对着烟花说新年快乐，这也如她深情在婚礼上背诵的莎翁名句"So long as men can breathe or eyes can see; So long lives this，and this gives life to thee "一般，永远深情款款。
不止于公路片，不是漫无目的地追求自由，而是除了自由已一无所有。
有点失望，要不是女主的演技，实在无法忍受废柴般的镜头。
