The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 翻拍自丹麦的同名电影，剧情几乎没什么改动，但男主明显更暴躁，杰克吉伦哈尔的演绎也更外放。结局过于明了，也比原版更温情，但反而少了一丝引人回想的意味

暴躁警察老哥的自我救赎/近两年声音叙事的片子越来越多了/猜测被误杀的小孩是黑人/吉伦哈尔演技确实能撑住一整场虽然没太多变化
「廣播劇」式作品，很考各演員的功架(無論是表情還是聲音)，導技反而不太重要。Jake Gyllenhaal由頭帶到尾，而且駕馭得到片中的大量特寫鏡頭。
关于主角，这么演是为了增加紧迫感和戏剧性，但脱离了一部分真实感，现实中的接线员像电影里同事说的，他一直这么混蛋，那估计已经被开除了，而且砸碎了公司物品。
没有一个女人愿意在亲手杀死自己孩子的阴影中继续活下去。各位姐妹，远离暴躁的男人吧，你甭管他妈是在工作中还是生活中，情绪容易失控的男人，咱就远离吧。毕竟，命要紧。

电影中有一些剧情可有可无，查了一下发现是电影的新增设定，丰富乔•贝勒的生活，森林大火的背景应该是为了营造紧张氛围，贴切现实中的事件。
3.5 很久没看到过这类型的电影了，还以为好莱坞不再做类似的东西了。吉伦哈尔的演技无可挑剔，但故事的反转还是有些俗套，最后一幕剧情节奏编排不太好
食之无味弃之可惜，或许把很多场面给铺开会好很多，画面真的太单调了。

剧情和2013年哈利贝瑞的剧情差不多，前者一个女主角撑起一部戏。后者一个男主角撑起一部戏。
