The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 七个短篇绘本动画的合集。有的故事有幻想元素，但整体来说都是对日常生活的描摹（其中四个都由方言主导），几乎没有多少情节（唯独哼哈二将的故事算是强情节了）。就连《小火车》的结尾，我差点以为孩子的父母是幻象，“他们是不是在地震里没出来……？”但其实也没有，真是松了一口气。而《糖水铺》更是连一点剧情转折都没有，仅仅是蒯老伯经营糖水铺的淡淡日常。这种小而美的动画作品，恰恰也是目前国内银幕所稀缺的。所以诚挚推荐。
爱消失了，家庭分崩离析，却发现和儿子也无血缘关系。活着就是羁绊，羁绊藏在千丝万缕的爱里呀。

都是小人物的生活，看着好温暖，尤其在这几年的艰难时世，给人光明和力量
就很值得支持，治愈人心，整体最喜欢小兔那章以及每一章开场白的小兔，剪纸动画效果也很赞，都很温暖，是很好的片子。

真的很多反转，保罗是个好爸爸，里昂真是个好孩子啊。剧情本身对婚姻有着现代的思考，多重的非传统，孩子你还会爱吗？
