The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up.     虽然是第五集，但基本上是类似去年的捉鬼敢死队、黑客帝国，就是多年后对最原始一集的致敬，炒冷饭。有新一代演员加盟，但老演员也都回归。要说这个系列真的算最早期一批大女主逃生电影，随着时代变迁，这一集的变化是，女性角色变更多，但是不尖叫了，而是个个都很凶狠。而且个人觉得这次更血腥、疯狂，有一些情节各种卖关子，也有一些意想不到的角色死掉。
