The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 主要就是没了黄金时代老音乐剧的精气神 又几乎没啥新时代的好改编 不如直接重映老版…再次感叹Sondheim词写得太好
对这个百老汇经典剧目改编充满期待。男女主表现算不上差劲，可是越看越抽离，最后实在坚持不下去。
2021了居然还是有这么俗套的爱情片，有asian face但是和asian没有一毛钱关系，可以当下饭菜看一下，
不太出彩，但运镜，歌舞等让这部电影也还可以
对男女主角的讨厌让我忘记了这个电影的其他一切。
一开始很惊艳，调色打光、摄影、场面调度是一级的，但剧本和男女主之间的火花都无法匹配上述硬件，以至于整个故事作为电影挺食之无味。
可能老斯失败了，也可能没有，他只是想完成自己所好吧。其实本片北美口碑还是挺好的，豆瓣只刚好及格，没办法，国内观众没有歌舞片的基础和情怀。服化道景都是没得挑的，但是故事拍摄手法确实太上世纪了，但也显然是老斯故意为之。且看且珍惜吧

【7.5】没看过原作，就是爱情在现实环境下如此之难的那点事，毕竟是老故事了。又是一次精致的怀旧，技术层面基本无可挑剔，评分可见国内外文化差异之大，对部分国内观众来说，可能没什么可以再吸收、共鸣的元素，相当于看了个寂寞。
在国内这种情感细腻温柔还风趣有趣的男孩子可以是一等了

歌舞太棒了，布景、摄影也一流，两位主角缺少点魅力。
Anita最可爱～唱得留不下任何印象；罗密欧与朱丽叶的故事放在一个真实背景里愈发荒诞了；这片熟悉的街区呵呵哒；另，把cloister当教堂跪好像和我素来喜欢在博物馆里拜佛有异曲同工之妙哈哈哈
