The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 前1个小时铺垫过长，而且并没有把人物性格人物背景交代好，好在后30分钟的高潮捡起来了。“若为自由故，一切皆可抛”。
作为改编可能还算不错了，整体还是不推荐给演员粉丝以外的人的类型。
大大方方地接受没什么大不了的，爱情不分年龄性别，两个人相爱便足矣。

虽然人心向善，但是自由的代价，真的是很大的，尤其是当有人自以为是霸主的时候。
不错的片子，甚至不需要艺术加工，能把真实事件完整据实地拍出来就已经足够了。

这片子评分有点低啊，个人赶脚挺不错的，黑与白，自由，人类，演员演技也不错

根据上世纪八十年代发生于南非的真实银行人质劫持案改编。影片整体上还拍得比较流畅，尤其是开头的几个追逐镜头，场景调度非常到位，一气呵成。此案件并非简单的刑事案件，实则是有着强烈的政治背景，劫犯是南非反种族隔离的黑人，提出的条件是释放曼德拉。导演处理起来有些左右为难，既想将这起张力十足的案件拍得好看，又得兼具其政治背景，在剧情中加入许多政治元素，竭力向着有历史感的政治性影片方向引。此片后面显得有些松懈，逻辑上也出现问题，最后喊起了口号。
