The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 超级好看！！看的2021官摄。整部剧节奏非常快，经常是上一秒眼泪还往下流，下一秒马上又能让你笑。整部剧以911事件发生时纽芬兰每个小人物的生活为视角，百姓的生活其实更让人揪心：在飞机上度过20+小时的旅客，一个小小的岛上一夕之间来了一倍岛民数量的陌生人，还有38架大型飞机。岛民的无私帮助让这些恐慌的陌生人感到温暖，不仅是人，还有飞机上的动物也得到了很好的照顾。还有美国第一位女机长的故事，她冲破了当时人们对女机长的偏见，不禁让我想起了之前有部纪录片讲述了想当火车司机的女性，她们需要的不仅是学习技能，还有与世俗对抗的勇气。

从发现是讲911的故事开始就一直流泪，编排得太好了，性别、宗教、种族、人性方面都有涉及但一点都不觉得拥挤，人物特点很鲜明所以角色切换和转场都很自然，立意也很好，既缅怀失去也致敬收获。好喜欢音乐剧群像！

善意与人性在危难时刻的闪光。哪个文化都有自己的阴暗面，可是最重要的是当人类超越割裂彼此之间的标签与符号，而仅仅是作为个体去尊重与交流的时刻，这样的可能性在今天的世界还存在吗？
悲与喜带来的历史与2022之间的一致性，使得苦难没有意义，虚无又穿透了我。

在世界边缘的孤岛奏响人性力量的赞歌，人类应当对灾难保有一份共情，对善与爱怀揣一丝希望。Honor what was lost. Commemorate what was found.
2001至2021，世界变了又好像没变。先不说这样的美式主旋律正能量和国内作品的立意高下问题，100分钟的舞台演绎中，完全打破了传统音乐剧的情节和幕次、空间与场景、台词与唱段的界限，让技术完全为艺术表达服务，就很赞！
看前半个小时的时候感觉特别惊艳，后面渐渐就有些腻乏了
真的很棒 一组人 一个场景 分饰多角 那种困境中的互助 爱和信任都是那么慷慨。结尾那么动容的Be an inlander，做个这样的岛民，才能让我们都不变成孤岛。那是20年前 今天一切变好了吗？屏幕上有多被感染 屏幕下就有多沮丧 失落与绝望。
