The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 挺不A24的一部片子，摄影不错，剪辑一般。三段结构逐渐演绎凤凰和侄子的关系，从碰撞到溶解，完成了一个菊次郎式的故事。
多恋爱，慎结婚，能不生就不生。责任重大，不要以自私的角度看待生命，孩子也好，宠物也罢，皆如此，以一己私欲控他人一生，罪孽。

蛮特别的电影，看起来真的有些辛苦。毕竟跟现实比较，就不太能认可了。
