A brilliant and outragously funny satire of society, 7 December 1999

"Flodder" is one of the funniest movies ever made and few people realise that it is a Dutch movie made by none other than the Holland version of John Carpenter, the famous Dick Maas, author and director of the thriller "Amsterdamned". The Flodder family is the reincarnation of the term a-social. When the whole family bunch, basically all bastards, criminals and sluts must be relocated from their City slum because of toxic waste under their house, the city council house no choice. The only available space is in the "Zoendal" - the "Sun Valley" the best area in Amsterdam where all doctors, snobs and businessmen can afford to live their lives. And where the central point of interest and politics is the tennis club of the community. The Flodder family brings devastation to the tranquil world that ruled before. They are simply unbelievable. The characterisation is incredibly funny, beginning with Ma Flodder who searches other people's trash cans for food or making illegal liquor in her cellar and ending with the eldest daughter who is the biggest slut on earth. Together they make the most horrible family imaginable, a sort of immoral mirror image to the Brady Bunch or the Waltons. When the City counsel of Amsterdam hoped that the Flodders would show their good will to be more civilised in their new area, it turns out that Holland's most famous family would rather bring out the worst in the rich people of "Sun Valley"-wonderland. The rest is a hilarious, brilliant and well made social satire that can be watched as a provocative movie as well as a straightforward comedy. Dick Maas at his best. I salute him! Flooder was the Dutch smash hit in 1986 and brought two sequels and a tv series. All of the sequels were nice but not as great as the original.

Why is First Floor Features, the producer of the movie not bringing the Dick Maas blockbusters out on DVD in the Netherlands, I wonder. The are not even available on video there. These movies have so much potential, still to this day and have a huge silent but true following.
阿莫多瓦这部文艺远＜狗血剧情，剧本毫无悬念，在每一情节都可以猜中的前提下，阿莫多瓦的母性绘写和议题仍一直勾引着我（主要是女主太好看了！！！）主线只是为了引出暗线，阿莫多瓦的《痛苦与荣耀》算是自传般的回忆个人人生，这次，作为西班牙如今最重要艺术家的阿莫多瓦“记录历史”，把其变成了超越其个人表达的重要社会责任。记录西班牙的历史。西班牙人需要知道父辈尸骨累累，也需要知道那一堆单身母亲。
太狗血了，整个故事的收束点放在一个合理又奇怪的位置，重要的事件突然让位给了某种深层又隐晦的表达，其中消失的男性和四处在寻找的男性并没有足够的阴影，好像在表现女性力量或同情女性，实际上又没有聚焦在这里
太喜欢整部电影的色调了…温柔而美丽，就像母亲的子宫
人与人之间的关系充满了无限可能，可能是战友、是雇佣、是主客、是情侣甚至是母女。母亲的定义也是非常广泛的，可以突破伦理、血缘、年龄、性别、甚至是时空，人以外的事物之间也能构成母亲与子女关系，重点在于，母亲方是否给出了切身的关爱和历史的关怀，只要有所继承，那么继承方就像一个子女角色。母爱的关怀似乎不图目的，不计付出，不求回报，它的原动力，不得而知
阿莫多瓦依然延续他的风格，以一个略狗血略奇情的故事来揭开一段历史的伤疤，将个人情感，家庭观念，上升到民族高度；而在叙事方面，也尽量做了减法，也在戏剧化的程度上尽量舍弃“戏剧性”，观众以为的抓马或撕逼都没有发生，只是冷静地将两个母亲的爱与痛苦表达出来，只是前后两种风格的融合有点割裂，但最后的一镜还是挺震憾的。7.7
(补标)四星半。能感受到阿莫多瓦整个过程都非常松弛，几乎是信手拈来的状态。尤其剪辑凌厉，节奏铺陈和推进轻快而畅然，也让我感觉非常舒服。
妹妹的角色演技有些出戏。
还是欧洲人看待事情的眼光比较独特，一夜情生下的孩子被抱错，并且被养猝死了，然后自己收留养子的生母，并且相爱了，还把孩子还了回去，悲痛欲绝，那就再生一个吧

开了一个脑洞，如果和佩德罗差不多大但经历更坎坷的老谋子再拍一部严歌苓式的电影：一双在十年动乱中相爱相杀的女人又在“只生一个好”政策的时代鬼事神差地重逢，命运嘲弄又让两人各自从自己的母亲那里挖掘出五六十年代的苦难回忆……尤其是看到片尾“历史不会沉默”时
奇情与历史的融合。人要向前看，但你所处之处是怎样的。人类的历史并不沉默，哪怕将它投入火焰。最后一个镜头太好，身处在任何时刻，都不要忘了，那个躺着的人可以是你。
人们总是忘记自己对他人有多不重要，而在做母亲时这就特别重要了。

明暗线确实交织的不好，阿莫多瓦想表达的内容有点超过影片本身的容量，或者说，夹杂了不必要的元素。但不论如何阿莫多瓦就是阿莫多瓦，女性视角下的细腻和母性的爱就是他最大的利器。
现在谁还会要TA呢
非常扎实，故事性很强，俩女主，明线暗线交织得也算成功。最后一幕黑屏上价值观，还是有点突兀
慢热型，四十分钟以后。小男孩不就是玩密室逃脱游戏的你吗，不住的打电话求助场外npc。妹妹这个角色很失败，让整部电影的基调失去了惊悚感。爸爸这个角色应该是时长缘故被片方最后舍弃了。
剧情割裂感相当严重，不过对女性的描写依旧细腻深刻，不愧妇女之友。WE SHOULD ALL BE FEMINISTS
阿莫多瓦真的老了，上部电影是回忆童年，这部电影则是关于历史、家国、传承、血缘（当然还有soapy melodrama）看《平行母亲》就像看西班牙金星主持1818黄金眼，所谓的“叛经离道”只是外表，本质上还是聊家长里短的狗血八卦，传达传统价值观。
