The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 主旋律电影中的上乘之作，人物形象丰满生动。
花15块钱就包场了的观影体验。冷清的市场。
另有一个不很重要的细节，是在何兰芬去接李侠出狱的时候，一对夫妻匆匆走过她的身后，只听丈夫说“住监狱就跟住宾馆一样舒服”。他们转瞬即逝，脸都看不清，这句男人用来安慰妻子的话却太清晰了。就是这些不少人都毫不关心、会被忽略的细微努力，结结实实地打动了我。
费时费力把黑白电影转成彩色，不仅失掉了原有的美学特色，还呈现出这样的效果，希望不要有第二次了。

有些电影，即使经过时间的洗礼，现在看上去仍然经典，不会过时。可惜这一部不是。影片的思想性可以说是相当高，但是艺术性和故事性均无甚特色，因此无法成为超越时代的经典。不过在我观影时，王心刚出场的时候，很多同场的阿姨都举起了手机拍照，让我想起了看《地久天长》时，王源一出场，我身边及前排数十名小姑娘都在摄屏。可见即使是扮演反派，帅哥的魅力仍然难以抗拒啊~
