The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 和《中邪》类似，运用伪纪录片的手法，更好地还原了生活中我们常人也能经历的一些恐怖情景。剧情流畅，双线并进，伏笔悬念，一应俱全。小女孩喊出“火佛修一，心萨呒哞”那一刻，真的特带感。

营销什么时候都是过头的，评论里一些自称爱看恐怖片的人，说着看似合理的话，吹出一部史上最恐怖出来，真是不怕人笑话。
唯一的缺点是院长的转变铺垫不够。
