The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 7.8 对法庭逼逼片一直都很有好感，这片毛病不少，但看着挺爽。
本片要抗争的东西我感觉离七君子原本的诉求还是有点区别的，他们原本的诉求是反越战，但是本片实际争取的是发声权、抗争的是政治打压。
至少不要人云亦云，不要以为自己的出发点是“无敌”的，是“好”的，就停止思考。
电影表现方式能激荡人心。而故事本身再一次证明百无一用是书生，情绪不稳，易被煽动

熟悉的艾伦索金味道，高密度台词+政治题材，法庭上的唇枪舌战，配合着事件回顾和真实影像的蒙太奇，看得人确实很激动
一句话没说清楚引发的血案，作案手法挺复杂，推理戏也凑合。不过总算发糖了，看到新一小兰终于确定了关系，不自觉的露出老父亲的笑容，加一星

條理分明、不疾不徐的節奏，難得的一部不以聳動快閃的言詞及畫面來爭取認同的庭審辯證電影。
索金证明了他仍然是一位一流的编剧，但并不是一位优秀的导演。法庭戏确实是全片的亮点，但叙事结构处理得相当糟糕，例如示威情节的穿插，电影感觉头重脚轻，角色塑造也不到位，想表达的东西没有办法全部塞进一部电影里，所以每一个角色都显得有点空洞，没有办法得到展开。
太工整了，一百二十分作文，少见的极左但不至于太讨厌的作品。political trial，唯一用生命抗争的，是名字和数量没有出现在事件中的黑人。
這要重重的打醒那些老是認為美國人會為你出兵征戰的人的美夢，不要再異想天開，別劃錯電影內核的重點了。
