A brilliant and outragously funny satire of society, 7 December 1999

"Flodder" is one of the funniest movies ever made and few people realise that it is a Dutch movie made by none other than the Holland version of John Carpenter, the famous Dick Maas, author and director of the thriller "Amsterdamned". The Flodder family is the reincarnation of the term a-social. When the whole family bunch, basically all bastards, criminals and sluts must be relocated from their City slum because of toxic waste under their house, the city council house no choice. The only available space is in the "Zoendal" - the "Sun Valley" the best area in Amsterdam where all doctors, snobs and businessmen can afford to live their lives. And where the central point of interest and politics is the tennis club of the community. The Flodder family brings devastation to the tranquil world that ruled before. They are simply unbelievable. The characterisation is incredibly funny, beginning with Ma Flodder who searches other people's trash cans for food or making illegal liquor in her cellar and ending with the eldest daughter who is the biggest slut on earth. Together they make the most horrible family imaginable, a sort of immoral mirror image to the Brady Bunch or the Waltons. When the City counsel of Amsterdam hoped that the Flodders would show their good will to be more civilised in their new area, it turns out that Holland's most famous family would rather bring out the worst in the rich people of "Sun Valley"-wonderland. The rest is a hilarious, brilliant and well made social satire that can be watched as a provocative movie as well as a straightforward comedy. Dick Maas at his best. I salute him! Flooder was the Dutch smash hit in 1986 and brought two sequels and a tv series. All of the sequels were nice but not as great as the original.

Why is First Floor Features, the producer of the movie not bringing the Dick Maas blockbusters out on DVD in the Netherlands, I wonder. The are not even available on video there. These movies have so much potential, still to this day and have a huge silent but true following.
现实生活中我不相信鬼神诅咒，但受到外来造成的恐惧心理是真实存在的，像是我们看恐怖片，亦或是接触了晦气的东西，你的想法决定了你的所见所闻。
这些年一出来恐怖片就是伪纪录片，真他妈恶心！一点创新都没有！恐怖片已死！愚弄傻逼，傻逼还乐！
但也不过是矬子里拔大个罢了
台湾民俗，没有文化背景不太能代入，但整个故事建立在母爱基础上让最后几分钟看出一点温情感动，恶意吓人的地方也还好，看完甚至觉得感动大于恐怖。全片设计感过重不及《中邪》接地气，但确实比《中邪》会讲故事。

好怀念林正英的僵尸，不仅扮相吓人，还可以跟自己祖宗十八代上演一些悲情剧目，僵尸是僵尸、人是人，僵尸与人的情感不再相通，而道行很高的道士师父又总可以降伏僵尸，你明明白白地知道邪不胜正；好怀念《聂小倩》，女鬼们总是迫害至死、阳寿未尽却被法力更强大的恶鬼所控，又总会有为之痴狂的书生出手搭救，上演一些人鬼情未了的爱情。我不知恶意之神、符咒以及控制人意念的邪术该归到哪一类，不知归类为佛教还是道教的反派，不知是不是万物有灵式的“多神论”，我不知导演怎么可以将宗教跟科学兼容，宗教跟科学都信，我认为是一种人格分裂。如果导演将所有人归为精神病，我们又在镜头里看到了切切实实的鬼。幻视、妄想症和作为实际存在的鬼怪又是两套体系。观众一旦无法选择确切的世界观，移情模式也会很混乱，又怕又不怕、又信又不信，简直莫名其妙。
并不是太恐怖，类似邪教的诅咒，想到了「灵媒」和「昆池岩」，最后导演或编剧对观众太不友好了，满满的恶意啊，尤其是揭开红布的时候！让人觉得不舒服！另外女主角太像海清了叭，双胞胎姐妹！那个女儿演的真好！没事儿别搞探险遇鬼直播，不知道会遇到什么……
一星给营销。本来想看一家人激情泼shi ，然而和原案件不能说一摸一样只能说毫无关联。情节拖沓，桥段平庸，手法老套，强行感人，毫无代入感。
伪纪录片的手法我真不喜欢（学院派观影的毛病），除此之外平均水平以上。
这片子恐怖程度一般，但厌恶程度拉满。其一是搞密恐，其二是诅咒观众。加上jump scare，最没水平恐怖三件套齐活了。真要好看也行，可惜全片除了专心致志给观众下套外根本毫无看点。上来就给观众派任务，就很烦人，我看恐怖片是为了娱乐的，不是来跟着你做操的。意图不要更明显。然后随便搞几个人尽皆知的视错觉虚张声势，真的挺莫名其妙，还美其名曰打破次元壁，我真呵呵了，就一网络上用到烂的诅咒信有技巧可言么？真想拉黑这个小学生导演。
如果在影院看想必会被吓到骂娘，埋伏观众这一手也很恶趣味。但有几个段落没解决相机存在的合理性，属于伪纪录片通病了。主角的行为逻辑也过于作大死，应该设置得更聪明一点。
真的好赞啊！而且主人公最终的意图也只能通过细节去推测。最后回想之前种种不合理的小细节，才明白这个片里最恐怖的是人心啊！
宣传的挺好，概念不错，但是挺失望的。情节太破碎了，一味的添加恐怖元素，反而乱七八糟。前半段还挺感人的，知道他们是自己送死的，就离谱了，后期还走传销路线。。。哎！视觉恐怖太多了。
看了一个评论笑死，看盗版的你 还想得到正版的诅咒，想什么美事呢 哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈哈
看到一半，猜到结局。小机灵很多，以为能有点儿新意，还是民俗传说，怪力乱神那一套。就，期待值过高了。

成功的恐怖片都是调动了观众对情节背景的信任的，让观众认为影片非全部虚构。从这么多评分者相信电影是在传播诅咒，可见电影在取得观众信任上是很成功的。
可惜我不爱吃这套，开头的不厌其烦已经让人厌恶而没法代入了，主角们的骚操作更是活该，最恶心的是这晃晕头的手持镜头，整部电影故弄玄虚，乱七八糟，让人没法共情，导致一点都不恐怖，只觉得厌恶，恶心。
（当时看到片中女主叫我们念咒的那一段时，旁边有个人来了句“大威天龙”，然后我们也笑着喊了起来，房间里顿时充满了快活的空气）
个人觉得全片最恐怖的地方是顶楼小房间，门慢慢打开，煞白的门外与暗红的门里冲击视觉，蛊虫在最低处向上仰视，被佛神俯视的压迫感令人毛骨悚然，未知恐惧是最恐怖的。
