The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 比利小子的后传，情节渲染的不错，寥寥几个人物刻画得都很传神，近年来最好的西部片之一，在武侠、西部片相继衰落的今天，能有这样的佳作，属实不易，虽然比不上黄金年代的巨作，但也绝不是乏善可陈。

很好的故事设计，既延续了传奇（或重新演绎了传奇），又隐喻了现实，一举两得。决战场面的设计很精彩，结尾的反转也恰到好处。近年来难得好看的西部片。
十分硬核和老派的西部电影，全程一直担心儿子会死，没想到最后是比利小子死了。。。
潮湿的泥土，肮脏的猪圈，衬衫发黄，菜汤易冷。就是这么old school。

表演有力 剧本离谱 在老亨利身上能看到所有西部片主角的元素 反派也是老戏骨 但是就像一锅无聊的大杂烩 故事情节上还是太弱了
尽管粗粝感有了，但终究打斗过程过于简单而前面的铺垫有些冗长，其中的几条支线也和主线没啥必然关联，当然更重要的是，作为中国人，我们对西部世界并没有情亲感，很难为情怀再加一星了，

太多售卖廉价情感的电影的现在，这样的电影算是少有了。

猜中结局，扣一星。节奏还好，导演可以。价值观还能接受，看在科恩班底的份上，表演给四星。
有种看了古典西部爽片的感觉，1906年的美国已经是世界第一，具有传奇的老爹逝去，带着传统的西部小子开始闯荡新世界。
情节够紧凑，不拖沓，有反转，又有不少西部片的影子。
西部片的一波三折，还是跌宕起伏的。
