The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 三星半。巴瑞·莱文森带着教科书般的发挥归来，一部没有任何废话的传记片，扎实又流畅。即便剧本脉络较为常规，但这样的完成度着实令人景仰。道格拉斯·克莱斯利用光线和声音的变化作为剪辑点，无法忽视的突出。本·福斯特优秀到，如果明年初奥斯卡男主提名没有他，那就是整个学院的奇耻大辱。
对美式少儿动漫和简单朴素真善美没有抵抗力，摔跤题材我也喜欢（虽然真的很浅），话说女主长得就很IG网红。
怪兽的特点不够明显，同类型的公牛历险记比这强多了
黑白和彩色两个时代的交错，男主体型和眼神的变化，映衬了残酷的故事和活下来的勇气，生存本就是无常且充满意外的旅程，活着的讲故事，没活的变成故事。男主+1星
换成怪兽打摔角，套路且平庸的剧情，老子英雄儿好汉。新一年祝大家如主角一样，谷底反弹，一步登天！
父亲的明星光环，就是孩子的巨大阴影。如果跳舞可以打败摔跤，不如直接躺平！
挨了反派那麼多絕殺沒事一樣，反派挨了一招就倒了。
比较成熟的故事套路，但是总有不同的展现方式
就过于无聊，大概正儿八经的真人电影也很少用这类故事写剧本了，而且不仅怪兽形象不算讨喜之外，其他人都像去模拟人生直接扣出来的，直白点可能就是难看吧。

Justine Juel Gillmer(《地球百子》《荒原》)编写剧本，基于哈夫特之子Alan Scott Haft写作的书籍《Harry Haft: Survivor Of Auschwitz, Challenger Of Rocky Marciano》，讲述一个男人在奥斯维辛集中营被迫与狱友进行残酷的角斗，胜利意味着能活着等待另一天的考验，而他击败的76名对手则走上了死亡之路。哈夫特承担了沉重的内疚之情，他尝试通过参加二战后备受瞩目的拳击大赛、与洛基·马西安诺等传奇人物比赛而重新找到活下去的理由，并希望能找到他在战争前爱上的那个女子，她激励了他在纳粹手中活下去的斗志。

怪兽的画风还好，人类这个感觉僵硬很了;本来感觉这种题材还可以，巨兽格斗，但是剧情设定确实单一，适合低龄段看。
一大一小，人和怪兽形成鲜明对比，这种反差萌，挺有意思。
