The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 加长版的番，临清人狂喜。和之前的番的效果一样，动效好，剧本相对薄弱一些。不知道主创团队有没有把这部影片出海的计划。如果有就好了。
惊喜之作，制作真的很棒，片尾曲一股侠客感油然而生，配音也都是TVB的班底，难怪总感觉里面的声音这么熟悉hhh
很喜欢，比起第一季，我更喜欢罗通这个男主哈哈，但是还是有的地方有点生硬，比如江渊，罗影 总感觉还有内容没有全讲清楚，还得自己脑补了

虽然这是一部关于成长的电影，但重点讲述的是家庭关系。
关于家庭的台湾电影真是越来越吸引我，从经典的侯杨李蔡到近几年的《阳光普照》《孤味》《瀑布》，可以说除开恐怖片，就属家庭片最大放异彩了。《美国女孩》和李安的三部刚好相反，受美式文化教育和影响的少女回到台湾后的各种不适和抵触，是对不同大环境的反抗，也是对相同小环境的反抗，一个是社会一个是家庭。和《瀑布》一样，也有一个一段很重要的关于疫情的戏，一场疫情也在某些方面改变了整个社会和整个家庭关系。完成度很高，感情表达到位且细腻，这股台味真是越品越迷人。
多么行云流水挥洒自如的动作设计，多么义薄云天快意恩仇的江湖豪气。没有善恶，只有立场，人物主题均处理的高级。“这乱世一口饭要用黄金万两来换，一滴水的欲望要用一碗血来偿还”，好久没见到这么好的台词了
武打动作精彩确实不让人失望，转黑白的两场戏简直想要鼓掌叫好！更难得是故事也讲的很好，是有“人气”的武侠！精彩！中国动画有未来的！！主创团队多拍点！迫不及待想为你们花钱了！（没有看过剧版完全不影响！但我立刻准备去补上了！
这个故事配这个片长，正好。总之无论错与对，游侠都消失了…
很真实也很真诚，感觉导演心思很细腻很敏感，出来一看果然是女性导演。观影过程中小哭了几次。
电视剧都拍的什么鬼，春节后看到的最好的一部电影，也只有在这里才能看到点惊喜，看到点乐趣。
中国武侠实在太适合漫画的表现形式了，不管剧情有多无趣，看着刀光剑影飞檐走壁的画面，心中对武侠的所有幻想都得到了满足。
实打实的武打很有诚意 但因此故事也就比较单薄 其实双方都可以不是非黑即白 这样挖下去可能就可以更深一些 3.5+
