The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 一部属于特定人群的情怀电影，但也仅限于此。
很喜欢这种写实的动画风格，在构图、空间调度的把控水平很高。故事更像纪实报道，只不过是以孩子的眼睛去观察再用成人的口吻去口述。是对过去时光的重现和怀念。

孩子们太淳朴了，但是感觉有点失真都太干净了，如果是真实的话，孩子们可能会更埋汰点儿

最近突然很能明白这种感觉，林克莱特怀念那个时候的美国，就像我怀念2008一样。我们长大之后就发现这个世界好像越来越坏，每个人眼中最好的世界也许都停留在了他们的少年时代。
【3星半】有点失望，就是一部对上个世纪六七十年代美国社会风貌的滤镜回忆，以一个孩童的眼光，来看待周遭太空竞备大环境下的国情民生，融杂了很多带有（美国人）记忆点的印象元素，但要不是那个国家那个年代亲身经历过来的，很难有更深一层的感悟和感慨。

在现在浮躁的社会，能看到这样清新的电影真的很不常见了，希望能多拍点儿支教类型的电影
少年心怀航空梦，几乎每一个男孩都憧憬着有朝一日能够漫步太空，亲临月之暗面。画风延续《黑暗扫描仪》，以动画的方式再一次回味并上演《少年时代》，理查德·林克莱特依旧温情浓酽，令人动容。记忆中的岁月，伴随着成长的历程被贴上鎏金的滤镜，嬉皮士、太空乐园、阖家坐在电视前、青少年的游戏还有旧电影，经历的事情愈多，这些少年往事便变得愈加弥足珍贵。所以呈现出的怀旧复古气息中也增添了不少美化添加剂。记忆越来越远，曾经的年代浓缩成一个符号。留下情怀，慢慢感怀。
