The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 网飞味太重了 角色发展太他妈突然了 当观众是笨蛋吗？网飞是默认自己的受众群体都不爱思考吗？可能是的。
驴唇不对马嘴的剧情竟然还给我看感动了。搞笑的是从头看到尾一直以为是Lily Collins演的，直到看到演员表，竟然是吸血鬼日记女主。

剧情没有亮点，但是delivery很好啊-带出主题心灵美确实是很重要的
一个三代亚裔脸的纯阿米里卡家庭，亚裔奶奶在饭桌说着白人儿媳都觉得不合适的sex话题、全家狂热爱好一切美国传统节日：布置夸张万圣节及圣诞节装饰、全家上街合唱圣诞歌、制作姜饼屋……对于这样狂热的皈依者，剧情给这家的三位男成员各配了一个白人大美妞伴侣。恭喜亚男终于享受到了好莱坞撑政治正确、反种族歧视的阶段性成果！！（另我就是yygq好莱坞，但不延展到其中的任何一位演员本身，请勿以此来杠）
反转的反转，最后是happy ending，但如果真有一位女性现实中这么摇摆的话，收获幸福的机会可能更渺茫吧

演技挺好的，完全不觉得出戏，挺温情的一个故事。男主这设定其实挺容易让人反感的，但演员很加分，从他身上看到了这个角色的魅力和闪光点。他羞涩，自卑，敏感，却真诚，聪明，有想法，成功证明了外表不是最重要的。
不报期待反而觉得很疗愈，属于非常合格的圣诞电影了。Jimmy虽然一向接类似的角色，但看起来一点都不讨厌，就着实是一种成功。
好看好看，居然很感人！还有我们的Jimmy Boy真的出息了！么么么
