The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 很熟悉，因此对电影的快节奏并无不适。
喜欢这部影片老胶片式的质感，让挺进师的故事更真实，观影就像亲历战争。
糟糕和失望。司马辽太郎的这部小说改编得非常不好，远不及《关原之战》。都不知道在讲些什么。导演根本不会讲故事，编剧也很烂。期待很久的电影，就这么个尿性。靠演员口述，我不如听有声书。

带着“诗意”的标签，影片里大量片段是为了诗意而诗意，太生硬和刻意了，虽然摒弃了宏大叙事，可小人物依然显得单薄，找到了合适的切点却没有深入，还是没有脱离大主旋律的窠臼。
比电影还要残酷的是现实，伟大的挺进师，致敬！

在真正的战争历史中，不仅有那些人人称道的大英雄，还有很多很多像影片中这样的无名英雄，他们也值得被我们永久铭记。
土方岁三视角新选组的故事，剧情比较平缓，时长有点赶，大量的背景信息一句话带过，虽然我有一点相关历史知识看着还有点不太明白。
没有过重地刻画战争场面，却能让人从张力十足的镜头语言中读懂战争的残酷，很棒的表现手法，赞住了。
厌恶司马氏给血腥历史安插温柔女性。也厌恶导演的悲情化处理。三岛由纪夫说黑泽明的人道主义是幼稚的人道主义，若伊见今之原田，黑泽或也能得到些君子固穷的赞许了。
黑白色调，压抑，对白生硬，很多唯美的镜头都蕴含着死亡。

演员都很棒，其实原作也很好，但是把六年的历史强行塞进2个半小时的电影里真的太过勉强，匆匆忙忙的流水账叙事，虽然是按时间，但是造成了整体叙事的乱，非常乱。整体感觉就是，好像讲了很多又好像什么都没讲，感觉比起拍成电影电视剧更合适。
看完感觉，好短啊！看之前以为两个小时，已经感觉相对较短，在接受范围内。结果一个多小时的时候已经快没人了，然后砰！下血雨，结束。
