The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 原来有狗子当主角的电影也能如此无趣。军犬的主人死了，军犬需要长途跋涉坐车去参加葬礼，但军犬凶猛无比，倒霉蛋游骑兵男主领了这个任务。一路上发生了几件还算好玩的事情，成为了本片不太特别的小小戏剧冲突。然后呢，军犬和游骑兵渐渐产生了感情，军犬也温柔了起来。游骑兵带着军犬参加完葬礼后，本来军犬是要被安乐死的，游骑兵不忍心，领养了军犬。最后他们幸福地生活在一起。看看，多么平淡无聊的一部电影。而且，主人不在了就换一个主人，比起忠犬八公来，就没那么“忠犬”了。

模仿军犬麦克斯，实在是太讨厌全片话多的男主了
一般，就很正常不过的公路套路片，男猪从狗狗自我救赎得到安慰！
这个男主电影很多呀…… 还行没有很惊艳可能期待过高

敏感一点也没啥问题！老公真的既不能给人提供安全感，还不站在女主这边！啥也不行！

猛男与狗子的公路电影🎦
三星半吧，感觉很平淡的一部讲述人与犬的感情的片子。
除了演员和原版一摸一样，如果说原版是画面是可有可无的尴尬，那显然吉伦哈尔卖力的表演也无法颠覆剧本不适合画面的现实，还不如《骇人来电》来的干脆。另外吉伦哈尔最后躲在厕所隔间里给搭档打电话认罪的表演卖力中透露着糊弄，实在看不出翻拍的必要。
