The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 还蛮喜欢的，节奏很紧凑很精悍。母亲看似无意杀死孩子，但其实早就注定了，一切恶都来源于此。小女孩演技很棒。

小朋友演得不大好。特效也很假。小孩子看看还行，有一定的教育意义。成人看就没意思了。

画面怎么说呢，有点儿恶心……故事有点儿俗套
有《钛》的味道。一个破碎的原生家庭：软弱的爸爸、虚荣和控制欲强的妈妈，孵化了一个黑暗嗜血的女儿。
孵化出的小女孩演技比原本的小女孩演技好几个档，也是挺惊悚的。

畸形的家庭/母女关系下，偶发的饲养怪物成为一种善/恶培养皿，而结果其实是不证自明的，也是符合「父母皆祸害」的观点。
