The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 好中二好喜欢。三个主角长相又怪异又帅气，很贴切重金属乐团形象了。
情节一般，不过音乐很燃。最喜欢那个当了医生的前乐队吉他手，扫地僧一般的存在。对于青少年的友情，爱情，诱惑都用metal给出了答案。还算不错
一些好看的人非常认真的做着一些够燥够叛逆的事情的时候会显得很可爱。
对于死亡金属这个概念的运用其实没有那么透彻，披着音乐外衣的青春片吧。

电影本身3星，metal属性加一星。汤姆和罗博的客串还挺搞笑的。
特别及格的一部简单清新的青少年片，没什么毛病。

……还能看到这种女人不能玩金属的片，男角色太欠了，看不下去
影片纯纯按照欧美青春片的套路，但是让人看起来很舒服，相比于其他影片倒显得高级多了，也不能完全算是歌舞喜剧片。引用了许多80年代，90年代的重金属音乐，两个毫不相干的组合却擦出了最绚烂的火花，有点类似于国内的《闪光少女》，但这部影片平淡无奇，没怎么有吸睛的地方，无非就是老生常谈，无聊的时候看一下解解闷还是可以的。
