The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 年轻的美男性工作者VS教授宗教课程的年长女教师，年轻健硕的男性身体VS苍老褶皱的女性身体。很多设定十分有趣，剧本十分工整完整。探讨了女性一生中的道德桎梏，也讲明了性工作者的道德困境。四次约会，层层递进，一次比一次更深入和放松。人生的list人人都有，往往真正完成的时候都不在预定之中，却更加难忘。
今日被影版DEH伤碎的心靠CFA来拯救了😭
作为一个女性，对这部片子的感受绝不是简单几个标签能概括的。艺术性上并不值得五星（有些情节过于强调符号意义了，反而略显刻意），可是社会意义更大。爱玛汤普森绝对我辈楷模。

短小精悍的独幕音乐剧，群戏很过瘾，在911事件的20周年之际，因为疫情出了流媒体线上的官摄版。小岛是纽带，在大西洋的边际，去链接那些迫降的人们，普世意义的互助与爱再次被唤醒。挺喜欢《Finale》里的一句歌词“Tonight we honour what we lost/but we also commemorate what we found”911后20年的故人如此，身陷疫情困境的今人亦如此。
挺有教育意义的。艾玛·汤普森也算是突破自我了！
