The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? Being impressed after seeing Buzz last month. Sony’s animation getting better. The story is slightly beyond normal kids one. The animatic are not bad tho. Looking forward their future work.

［紐約亞洲電影週全球首映］似懂非懂，關於真實與虛構、authorship的輕快疑雲，好像很難以某種特定的類型片歸類。但是大螢幕看這樣的題材和兩個人仍然是很舒適的體驗。柄本佑好帥好可愛啊！！！！！
描绘了很典型也较完整的父权运作(男人书写的神话和历史；颁“英雄”作为一种工具(掩盖父权下无谓的牺牲)；征服与统治的野心；男子气概的宣扬……)，最后却把矛头指向王室而非男人……这是动画电影的局限吗？

剧情还是太简单太理想了，但动画里的世界，就允许他理想一点吧。运镜和动作戏非常加分。
还以为故事就这样“圆满”告终了，但结尾处还藏着惊喜反转，价值观多加一星！婚外情题材能脱离苦大仇深的主旋律，拍的这么轻巧，不愧是日影！用漫画一点点挑逗、瓦解、蚀空丈夫的内心，在情绪即将崩溃的时候再递上温柔一刀，可谓高手（唯一的不足就是有些情节太温吞，对于我这种对恋爱剧本就耐心不足的选手不太友好，gomen～
丈夫在现实和漫画虚构之间不停猜测徘徊，错过了原谅的时机，说再多，也没用了。
黑木华演起这种温柔腹黑角色真的意外的合拍，柄本佑那种颓丧废柴的野男人气质真的好戳我。结尾太有力量了，剧本很棒！很轻松的一个复仇片，轻松愉悦但是非常带感。
高潮部分小女孩的演讲差了很多意思，也不震撼，也不动人。但是Red巨巨巨巨巨可爱！
