The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. 这么多年来Schrader一直都在讲一个故事 关注一个人物。越老了后风格越加精简 现在他的电影简化到了故事的本质。清冷与克制就像有洁癖，刻板的人物，猛然觉得可能老马丁误解了他的本子，老马丁做加法 Schrader做减法。
低情商：小成本电影
烂俗的情节没有什么可观赏的价值。对于男主的印象还停留在《Whiplash》里那个极为自负的鼓手学员上。

《出租车司机》的编剧又讲了一个大差不差的故事，好久没有看过像这片一样感到震撼的结尾了
十分糟糕的电影。本以为是什么小妞电影结果逻辑无聊爆炸。但男主穿着西装的时候性魅力真的爆炸。
