The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 满满的西部风情，男主造型非常独特，很生活化，人物大都是脏兮兮的，拍得比较写实，没有一般西部片那种耍帅耍酷，但故事还是比较老套。
有時候你想平靜，路人未必給你平靜，危險處處存在，不訓練兒子應該是特錯大錯，弱肉強食的世界，你弱就淘汰。
风格非常的西部，节奏控制得很好，人物刻画也不错，枪战很过瘾。
劇情雖然簡單~但不管是表演或是拍攝手法、背景音樂~都非常用心~味道有拍出來~非常喜歡~
剧情、演绎俱佳的西部片，最后20分的变装气场都彻底变了，这才是有备而来的男人应该有的做派，孩子有这样的父亲真是太TM酷了。男人是个易殒命损耗的物种，时光虽短但一定要付之生命光亮才是。
色彩动人，细节精致。即使不交代老亨利的身份也很好看。
瘦弱佝偻，面部扭曲，脸色苍白，但拿枪的手永远不会抖动。这大概是现实中gunslinger的样子吧。

其他都不错，就是小孩太干净了！根本不像一个没了妈的农场孩子……更像流量小生乱入。枪战场面安排略微随意了一些……

值个三星半把，放在今天有这样纯粹的西部片确实不易。但把它放在那些优秀的西部片里比较来看，就显得很平庸了。
搜了一下还真有billy the kid这个人
就是个西部片小品吧，真正精彩的就不到十分钟，结尾处理的挺好的，有一种不可饶恕的结尾既视感。不过整体来看还是有点平淡了，还好只有九十分钟。
气氛不错 演员演技够味 战斗戏设计有点拉 结局有些突兀 不够有说服力 七分左右还是合适的
