The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 电影编排铺陈和混剪插叙都很漂亮，意识形态倾向过于明显，不过能拍出这样的电影总比被过分压制好。

倒数第二段前司法长出庭作证让人燃起希望，最后一段内部预演激烈又还原事实真相，庭上逐一报5000多名越战逝去的年轻生命，震撼。电影不错，但对外文名字名盲，每次看这样的庭审都吃力，来回看了几遍才把后一小时看完。
难得不枯燥的历史剧，有趣的角色、小团体和法庭戏都是看点
历史总是不停重演，抗议是个说不清的复杂话题
必须有理有据的摆明自己坚定的态度和立场，尤其是面对脑残，赖子和傻缺云云的时候。
This is splendid cinematography. O how splendid! But somehow the story feels like self-entertainment to and only to an ironic level.

剧本真的赞，好电影就该是多元多视角两方理由让观众觉得都有道理的。看似疯癫的嬉皮士其实聪明克制，循规蹈矩的好学生却是骚乱源头心机深。也就美国有这种庭审，要在某地。。。。
1.这storytelling，太厉害了。2.有些司法可以playing dirty，有些司法没有player。3.whole world watching
片尾曲缓缓唱道“let us make a world in which I believe”, sounds attempting but how selfish, and unfortunately this has always been the American ideology.
