The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 故事算是一波三折，也有体制批判性，但是法庭辩论的台词感觉乱七八糟，缺乏专业度和逻辑性。

印度确实在反映社会题材上别出心裁，从我滴个神啊的外界视角看待印度问题到皮胡针对儿童问题上再到宿敌的政界阴谋，不同于韩国的悲天悯人之情怀讲述全斗焕执政时期其暴行，亦别于日本的小众瞩目之温情讲述本国奇人异事、感人故事，印度电影往往有种大刀阔斧的沉重感，笨拙但是直接，深入骨髓的力度揭露社会痛点。
前80分钟平淡无奇，后80分钟真相抽丝剥茧的过程看的头皮发麻，反转到怀疑人生。 印度拍电影总是有惊喜，什么题材都改拍，都能拍，集政治，人性，法律，悬疑，真相于一体的佳作

2022.7.21 真相，又是哪些人的游戏。
非常极限的ab故事倒装结构，印度电影版《沉默的真相》，台词、人物塑造极为精妙，关键是触碰的话题无所顾忌，酣畅淋漓。印度电影神如斯，我等汗颜。
印度文艺工作者的尺度和表达程度我们已经望尘莫及了。但这部电影本身我可真喜欢不起来。
真正难的是起树疙瘩，当你把地面挖开，那张复杂的脉络才显露出冰山一角来。你觉得树根在地下可能只有半米见方大小，但无数条树根可能已经延伸到数米远的地下，跟土壤紧紧得结合在一起。
没想到反转之后还有反转，立意很好，反应了印度的种姓制度，女性地位，学术滥用，当然，最重要的还有政治。敢拍，敢发声，敢质疑制度就是很好的进步，很好很好。
