The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 2021年度最佳恐怖片还得是《寂静之地2》。
父亲似乎中了某种病毒或者被寄生，变成了类似🦌一样的怪兽，最终被老师杀死，不过新的病毒似乎寄生到了警察身上
氛围营造的很好。孩子和怪物也很好。所有的隐喻都用开篇的旁边和字幕表达了。看到最后脑海里反复出现的是“幽灵公主”诶——可以再去看一遍了。

-怪物有点帅，但是故事却不咋地。
只是觉得结局很唏嘘，弟弟问：我们怎么忍心杀死我们爱的人？姐姐没有回答。但是不久的将来她要面临这个问题。小男孩嘴角的污渍也很可疑。
很平淡的一部恐怖片，鹿角怪的设计本身挺不错的，但是结局也太潦草吧，这个怪战斗力不太行啊女主一个人就能把它手撕了……要说亮点的话，小男孩的表现确实可圈可点
叹气，可惜了，浪费了好概念，浪费了好演员，浪费了Keri Russell

阴冷黑暗的氛围烘托得很不错👌阁楼怪物的形象也很有特色
印第安宗教，异变父爱，一边努力读书，一边努力照顾家人的孩子。
预告片比正片好看，悬疑气氛不足，借用神话也没有啥特别的发挥，最后，挺小打小闹的！
制毒贩毒的一家 vs. 被性侵的圣母bitch，知道导演想说堕落的地方被毒品搞的人不是人，但也太磨叽了
老师逃避了父权的压迫，回避了弟弟的遭遇，选择性的救助其他人
陀螺监制，氛围和影像质感还可以，但导演还是一如既往的慢和叙事效率低，对比小说改动不少（包括结局），怪物塑造得那么恐怖，却被女主开个挂就杀掉，处理得太草率了，5.5。（最后还留了个续集的可能）
风景特别美，摄像也不赖，就是故事太普通了……
