The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 感染力太强了，好好看，好好听，好好哭啊😭女机长的solo无论从音乐还是唱功都是完美的！讲述了如此悲痛的题材，但令人哭得情难自禁的时刻却不是因为单纯的悲伤，而是在音乐和演员表演的渲染下百感交集的心潮澎湃……真的太棒了！你永远可以相信音乐剧！！！
整片励志感人。虽是舞台表演。但故事讲述非常清楚。可以想象很多画面。
2001至2021，世界变了又好像没变。先不说这样的美式主旋律正能量和国内作品的立意高下问题，100分钟的舞台演绎中，完全打破了传统音乐剧的情节和幕次、空间与场景、台词与唱段的界限，让技术完全为艺术表达服务，就很赞！
12人抛开政治不谈，那种音乐带来的直接感受的激情！还是能让我们感受到作为普通人的感动！音乐剧给人很直接的感受！

感恩官摄，从I'm an islander开始哭瞎，最难受的是有些东西变了有些东西没变，但我们再也回不到二十年前。
后半段很棒。所有演员的功底都超扎实。喜欢机长的Solo
其实历史永远不应该只有一面
音乐剧真是各种艺术元素的集大成者，诸多巧思，触动心弦。好久没有这样沉浸的体验了，观赏音乐剧的每一分钟里，生命似乎都更值得一些。
太好听了！不过音乐剧还是要看现场的！荧幕上真的差太多
疫情关闭重开的官摄 上架appleTV的时间也很令人感慨 不要忘了被现今媒体上铺天盖地的宏大叙事淹没的个体们吧

真人真事改编的歌剧，主题很棒，但是单就故事性来讲有些平淡了，令人并不内心激动，歌曲也就还好，分三次看完了，看得有点困
就个人而言，这部音乐剧给我的感触不是很深，可能某些剧情会有所触动，里面的音乐也没能让我记忆犹深。
