A brilliant and outragously funny satire of society, 7 December 1999

"Flodder" is one of the funniest movies ever made and few people realise that it is a Dutch movie made by none other than the Holland version of John Carpenter, the famous Dick Maas, author and director of the thriller "Amsterdamned". The Flodder family is the reincarnation of the term a-social. When the whole family bunch, basically all bastards, criminals and sluts must be relocated from their City slum because of toxic waste under their house, the city council house no choice. The only available space is in the "Zoendal" - the "Sun Valley" the best area in Amsterdam where all doctors, snobs and businessmen can afford to live their lives. And where the central point of interest and politics is the tennis club of the community. The Flodder family brings devastation to the tranquil world that ruled before. They are simply unbelievable. The characterisation is incredibly funny, beginning with Ma Flodder who searches other people's trash cans for food or making illegal liquor in her cellar and ending with the eldest daughter who is the biggest slut on earth. Together they make the most horrible family imaginable, a sort of immoral mirror image to the Brady Bunch or the Waltons. When the City counsel of Amsterdam hoped that the Flodders would show their good will to be more civilised in their new area, it turns out that Holland's most famous family would rather bring out the worst in the rich people of "Sun Valley"-wonderland. The rest is a hilarious, brilliant and well made social satire that can be watched as a provocative movie as well as a straightforward comedy. Dick Maas at his best. I salute him! Flooder was the Dutch smash hit in 1986 and brought two sequels and a tv series. All of the sequels were nice but not as great as the original.

Why is First Floor Features, the producer of the movie not bringing the Dick Maas blockbusters out on DVD in the Netherlands, I wonder. The are not even available on video there. These movies have so much potential, still to this day and have a huge silent but true following.

整体上蛮娱乐的，最后家庭餐桌的温情脉脉有点扣分了……要吐槽就一路吐槽到底嘛
看前面的时候不断联想起女王几年前的《真相》，没人在乎真相。说白了这个片子就是“在座的都是那啥”的主旨，不管有没有人活下来。
现实世界跟这个电影一样荒唐啦，不要大惊小怪。
7分，彻头彻尾的讽刺喜剧，台上口号喊得再响亮背后也不过是虚伪和自私的利己主义，一切都成为政治角力和企业盈利的工具，他人的生死在有些人眼中已经无关重要。最后的反转来得好，人总要付出代价的。
一直以为台湾政治是娱乐节目，好吧，美国的政治才是真正的娱乐秀，现实可能比电影还要娱乐100倍不止。看到一个顶级大国如此衰败自我迷醉，也是百年难遇的奇观。其实把鸵鸟国骂翻天也没什么卵用，布拉德·皮特早在10年前《温柔杀戮》中也骂过奥巴马。7
该着急的时候不着急，来不及了才开始想后路。感觉疫情期间美国好莱坞还真是发扬了娱乐至死的精神。剧情是又扯又讽刺。这样一部扯电影竟然大咖云集。那个手机大咖是影射乔布斯吗？
很神奇，你把它当喜剧来看，完全笑不出来；但你把它当科幻看，omg，笑死。所以，我们这两年的生活也是这样，当喜剧来过，抑郁，当末日科幻大片来过，噢，genius！
讽刺得毫不掩饰，荒诞中带着悲凉。光看这么强大的卡司阵容已经值了，何况还白嫖了一场A妹的演唱会。最后末日前的狂欢如果再极致一点就好了。
直接展示了泛娱乐化的时代人们持续接收不断膨胀、虚假空洞又博人眼球的信息后面对一个灾难性新闻的真实反应，危险信号被政治浸透具有了外延意义后（才能引起关注）又重新作用于舆论形态产生新的效应，而演唱会的情景我们看到真相想要事态正向发展仍然要靠娱乐对大众情绪煽动式的聚拢力量，人类仅剩的理性只有平静地走向灭亡。
客观上不是多优秀的电影。但它在情绪上很微妙地展现了那种大家看似共享同一片对世界的认知，对话却完全处在不同的平行时空的他人即地狱的感觉；那种在逻辑上可以理解但情感上完全没法想象的鸡同鸭讲；那种夹杂着疲惫感和愤怒的对世界的陌生；以及惊呆于在这种该死的状况下还能摇摇晃晃运转的生活
其实让人印象最深刻的是剪辑，真的胆子挺大的
一手打信息社会，一手打权力结构，两手都要狠，两手都要准。虽然类似这类讽刺的电影很多，但象这么酣畅淋漓的不多，力荐。
3.5. Didn't quite get the overwhelming hate this film got. The satire here is not particularly intelligent nor incisive, but that seems fitting when reality is more mundanely grotesque than fiction: it's almost like the real world does not deserve to be treated in a more aesthetically profound manner. The sense of helpless anger and disbelief at the state of the world is quite genuine, and there are emotional moments that work quite well. It's a typically white and star-studded mainstream film, and that's okay.
吹哨人小李子和吹哨人大表姐的经历令人唏嘘，和平惯了的人们用戏谑的方式面对大型灾难，资本家眼里永远只有一样东西，政治随着资本发射或掉头，最后全世界只剩一个妈宝男人类。后疫情时代的反思，片名《不要抬头》可以“翻译”成《不要戴口罩》。起码国内还是会严肃对待，然而细菌的力量并不比彗星小，多活几百年是几百年。 看小李子再也不能带着当初舔颜的心情。幸好又有了甜茶，江山代有美人出。梅姨演总统太适合不过，那气质~那声线~大表姐的造型被吐槽龙纹身的女孩笑死。
如果不是网飞，这样的电影基本很难在传统的好莱坞环境下出现。
真正的悬浮就长这个样子。看似亚当麦凯又要拿出最main的一面来怼天怼地，确实，资本崇拜 职场潜规则 民粹 娱乐至死 普信男 妈宝男 红脖子批判的面面俱到，但是几乎任何方面都是极其符号化且浮于表面。因为这个故事本身设置的危机已经不同于大空头相对小影响面积和受众的金融危机，全人类的灭绝成为主线，但是展现的视角依然是如大空头般精英化，脸谱化，小格局，刻板化。他讲的每一个点都有其他的主要探讨这个议题的电影且比他讲的好很多倍，全片似众生相实际浮皮潦草。片子里的总统煽动选民说小李他们在俯视你们，但实际上 只有俯视观众的导演才能构建出这套物欲横流的悬浮精英叙事。小李的人设极度转折看似想做复杂性，实际上把导演本身的深度直男属性暴露地一览无余，反而引起不适。就这样的文本与表达，放在阴谋办公室顶多拍一集
剧情有点虎头蛇尾了。美国人不要抬头，千万不要，皇冠会掉。
美式大局讽刺。中国又何尝不是走向另一个极端。虽然明知是喜剧，但到最后末日一幕还是会静下心来去看。相信很多人都是这样。觉得自己对某些事可以从容处理，但真的处理起来，会显得和大众一样。虽然没拍好，但因为“不好笑”而给差评的大可不必，因总体来说还属于类似“黑色幽默”的主题，或表达对美国现象的担忧，导演也没说保证这是让你哈哈大笑类的影片。这部电影讽刺的就是你们这类人，电影说的是“世界末日要到了”，你却还在骂这部片“一点都不搞笑”。
