The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 脑回路非常清奇，一首环保诡歌，艺术风格的确独树一帜，但我记住的还是蕾雅的身体。。。
很享受但却不太喜欢的作品。美术很厉害，那些个仿佛只会出现在概念设计里的笔触，人物的一吐一吸，刻画出了一个阴暗的下行世界，但可惜主题内核好像要追求普世性一般陈旧，“不彻底的反抗”反而输了很多其他外表温柔内里发力的东西，就还是不够creep，有点遗憾。但还是蛮想在大银幕看的，至少有些镜头很令人兴奋。这么一总结，有点像《兰心大剧院》(误)。4.5归4。

剧情很稀烂，不知道在说什么，有些人没有前因后果就出现了或消失了，没有第二部那就是诈骗。小k的演技实在太奇怪了，不知道是人物设定还是她演技太烂。
全身耳朵 没有痛觉 非法制造器官 行为艺术切除秀。。有点创意也有点恶心。

剧情和场景极简化，以聚焦表现影片主旨。主题融合了对科技与环境、物质与精神、艺术与哲学等相对关系的思辨，并不难懂，但表达方式稍显晦涩。雨果和蕾雅的演出极具表现力，为影片加分不少，相较之下小K的演技着实有所不及。尽管有着种种不足，但年近八十的导演能有如此旺盛的创作力仍然令人敬佩。
可以质疑如此这般的“未来”，但一定要退回到现在甚至过去吗？
视觉上很有意思，但是剧本上，我有点怀疑这玩意是不是真的个有完整的故事？
